Rollo USB Label Printer (X1038)
The Rollo USB does one job cleanly: print 4x6 labels from one Windows PC or Mac. It uses the same generic-label policy as Rollo's wireless model, but Rollo is explicit that phones, tablets and Chromebooks are not supported over USB.

Analysis
Desk footprint (approximate)
At 8 in wide by 4 in deep with a fanfold stack behind, the working zone is roughly 8 × 11–12 in—the same as the Rollo Wireless. Assumption: stack directly behind, 1–2 in paper path.
USB vs wireless: the real cost
The difference between Rollo's two printers is almost entirely device support. If there is any chance you will print from a phone or a Chromebook, the USB model becomes a dead end because Rollo does not support those devices over USB.
Compatibility notes and common mistakes
Install Rollo's driver on each computer that prints. Set the label size to 4x6 in the print dialog when printing marketplace PDFs.
- Buying it for a Chromebook—Rollo says that is not supported over USB.
- Leaving the page size at Letter so labels print shrunken.
